Invisatread on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition has warmed the hearts of millions of Americans over the years. On Friday, January 13^th, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will visit the small town of Joplin, Missouri. Unlike the traditional episodes, this one will be focused on more than one home reconstruction.  “Seven Homes in Seven Days”, was the goal for Joplin, and the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition team was determined to succeed. With our utmost gratitude, InvisaTread is featured in the seven homes. On May 22, 2011, the town of Joplin,Missouri would be forever changed. A catastrophic series of violent tornadoes whipped through the town, killing 160 people, destroying nearly 8,000 homes.

InvisaTread® has been used in the seven homes and will help to reduce the risk of slip and fall accidents for the families.  While we can’t say much, we can say that these families will be more then pleased with their new homes! This episode features families who lost their homes, all of their belongings, friends, and children in the storm.  During construction, the families were sent to Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida, to relax and have some fun while the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Team of more than 10,000 volunteers put their magic to work.  Tune into ABC on January 13^th to see the final results and to learn more on how InvisaTread was used in this great project!

A Letter From Our CEO

It has recently been brought to our attention that a competitor of InvisaTread®, namely Grip On Anti-Slip Solution (owned by Safety Seal Products, WJM Enterprises and/or William Markowitz) has written a letter to certain of our customers in which there are numerous disparaging accusations about Anti Slip Solutions, David Gill and Todd Sherman.

We have been provided with a copy of this letter and would like to take a moment to correct the false statements contained in Mr. Markowitz’s letter.

The formula for InvisaTread was developed by Anti-Slip Solutions after 39 lab experiments and nearly 6 months of lab testing. We have never been in possession of Mr. Markowitz’s formula for his product Grip On, nor have we ever stolen any trade secrets in the development of InvisaTread®. For Mr. Markowtiz to suggest otherwise is not only false, it is defamatory.

In fact, a simple pH test of InvisaTread plainly demonstrates that InvisaTread has a pH of greater than 3.0, whereas prior testing of Grip On reveals that its pH level is between 1.8 to 2.0, thereby making Grip On a hazardous product pursuant to OSHA regulations which cite special distinction for products with pH levels between 0 – 2.[1],

Please understand that in a competitive market, we take the InvisaTread® brand name and the product formulation very seriously. We also value our customers and trade partners. Having the only product on the market that is truly safe enough to be sold directly to consumers and with a consistent branding in the market place, we understand that our distributor partners are entitled to understand the truth about the products they sell to be kept informed regarding InvisaTread.

Slips and Falls are among the most common cause of lost workdays and employee injuries within the healthcare industry.
